A young man (Anton Yelchin), struggling with his career as a writer, meets and falls in love with an older, married woman (Bérénice Marlohe) and they begin a relationship. Things become complicated when she tells him that she is actually happily married and her husband knows about him and approves, but they can only meet for two afternoon hours a day.
