A teen girl (voiced by Abbi Jacobson) reluctantly agrees to a road trip with her squabbling family (voiced by Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph and Eric Andre) to attend her orientation before attending film school. Meanwhile, an angry Smartphone persona takes over the world's electronic devices for a tech uprising that interrupts the trip and as the only people not captured by robots, the family must make peace and save the planet from technology gone awry.
