Paul Blart (Kevin James) is a nice guy who has been unable to pass the state trooper exam because of a troublesome sugar imbalance, which causes him to pass out when his sugar level is low. Relegated to the local shopping mall as a security officer, he takes his job very seriously, but no one appreciates his enthusiasm.
