A soccer loving man (Diego Luna) is nicknamed Rudo (Rough) for his goal blocking techniques. His brother (Gael García Bernal) is called Cursi (Corny) for his silliness. The brothers pick bananas but want to become professional soccer players and when a scout (Guillermo Francella) watches them play, he signs them up to rival teams.
