After a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid, a man and his family are deported to Jamaica. In a last ditch effort to help, his teenage daughter (Yara Shahidi) tries to find a way to convince the authorities that they should all be allowed to remain in the US. Things become more complicated when she meets a young man (Charles Melton) and after spending the day together she has one more reason to want to stay.
